PROLOGUE - 4. SELLING THE 1900's FARMNOUSE

A PERFECT GEM FOR THE RIGHT BUYER

THE CHALLENGE: We knew, there was a limited number of people who would want to pay top dollar for a 1900s farmhouse where only short people could actually get up and down the stairs to the bedrooms (with rather low ceilings), let alone only 2 bathrooms, one up and one down - no master suite.

Our job was to make our home into a showplace that would inspire others to fall in love with a rural setting and this west county treasure.

The weekend was to be sunny and warm, the tree leaves had turned magnificent in their array of colors. It was a beautiful time for a fall drive and our farm property on the market.

Beginning Friday at 9:00a and all through the weekend, we had a steady stream of buyers looking at our home and property. By Sunday, we had 8 offers and selected a buyer.
